Provision of Consultancy Services for the Park Engagement Exercise to the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority
Stretching across 40 hectares of reclaimed land, the West Kowloon Cultural District (“WKCD”) is one of the largest cultural projects in the world, blending art, education and open space. Its vision is to create a vibrant cultural quarter for Hong Kong where the local arts scene can interact, develop and collaborate.
The Park is an integral part of the 23-hectare public open space within WKCD. In parallel with the park design and construction, the Authority shall draft a set of park by-laws before end of 2014 to govern the future use and management of the Park. To inform this process, a park engagement exercise led by a special taskforce (“Taskforce”) comprising members of the Consultation Panel of the Authority will be carried out to gauge public views.
We have been commissioned by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority to conduct an engagement exercise to gauge public views on the use and management of the Park.
